@elbrant - Nothing to verify, they put in the "ad" what the pup received... and also a Vet would not give out that information. Like I said below, I did fill out their requested form but have not received a response. My bet it someone already got scammed...sad to say

That is my hope too, that she at some point will realise that she needs help, and then maby someone can help her.

It feels a bit useless to save the basenjis when she just went out and got some new dogs - but for the dogs we got away from her, it probably made the difference between a life in neglect and a good life, so then it was worth it.

Pat, as you know, we really do work hard in BRAT to make sure that any quality basenji breeder are notified.
I know myself, I have told folks that their b was in need in rescue, and the info never
showed up on the rescue list.
We are not out there to slam anyone. Our jobs are all about the dogs..ALWAYS…
its about the dogs.
If I get more that I can share, I will be happy to do so.

Most of the BRAT folks I know, spend $$ to help dogs that they are moving to other homes.
They pay for gas, postage, food, collars, crates…really, almost anything you can think of to get the dogs into shape to go to the new homes with all the "things" that they need.
I am afraid I will not be able to give these things to fosters, as I have in the past, due to the paycuts we are all taking.
BUT most of us are working for the dogs.
We are lucky to have a great support group to help us.
