Peed on my bed

tonight has been the second night in a row that She-Ra has peed on our bed. It has never happened before, which is why it is confusing to me….
She is coming along ok with the housebreaking process (and only 4months old) but I am starting to wonder what's up. She normally sleeps with us at night, but i've decided she will spend tonight in her crate.
Any ideas of what could be going on??
i'm tired and now have no blanket to sleep with.

4 months, in my opinion, is really not a long time. But, you're doing the right thing in keeping her off the bed. Remember-the bed is a privelege for her not a right. But, she could have a low grade infection as well, or she could have separation anxiety. Have you changed your routine in any way?

4 months is pretty young yet in housebreaking process.. I agree with Arlene…
Also sometimes during teething they have "relap" in housetraining... at least mine always have.
Could be that she is just sleeping through and not waking up... I would try and get her up and putting her out.... how many hours is she sleeping without going out?

she wasn't asleep, my bf had her out for about a half hour (she did pee outside) and she jumped up on the bed and peed after coming inside.
She is on a kind of late schedule, I work in a bar and don't come home till after 1am at the earliest. My bf is home in the evenings though, so shes never alone for more than a couple hours. But she seems fine going 8-9 hours of solid sleep before having to get up to pee. (I'm lucky to have a puppy that seems to like sleeping in lol).
Anyways, I'm off to the laundromat (again) and will keep her off the bed.

Four months of age is too young to fully housetrained. Relapses in the housetraining progress can occur when the owner gives the pup too much space too at too young of an age. You need to make sure you can see She-Ra at all times so she can't wander off and have accidents. You need to be able to see her signals and get her outside quickly. The more accidents she has, the slower it will be getting her back on track. Keep the bedroom door closed as well as other rooms or use baby gates. Another thing is that even if you take a pup outside and it relieves itself, once it comes back in and runs around it will have to at least urinate again. Be ready to take She-Ra out a second time to help prevent accidents. If the pup has to relieve itself and either it hasn't figured out how to let its owner know it has to go out or the owner is oblivious to the pup's signals, the pup will become desperate. It may understand that relieving itself on the living room carpet is "wrong" so it goes into the bedroom to relieve itself. Sometimes the pup understands that relieving itself on the floor is "wrong" so it jumps onto the bed or sofa (different texture than the floor and elevated) to relieve itself. It isn't doing it for "spite". It just has to "go" and is desperately seeking a place to do it in. Take preventative measures to keep a closer eye on her and take a step back in housetraining. Stay with her outside and use lots of praise to keep her reinforced. The more consistent you are the faster she will make progress.

oh wow, am I glad that you posted this…not happy that your B pees onyour bed though lol...
But mine does it too. I now have to keep my bedroom door locked, because Nike has figured out how to use the door handle! I have had to wash my duvet and all sheets at least 6 times in the past 2 weeks. So far so good, I have had 5 dry days in a row lol...but I am sure it's because I leave my door closed. Nike is 6 months today actually. -
I know that when I sent Crystal home with her new family (familiar with Basenjis) within two days Crystal was peeing on their son's bed… and it had not a thing to do with housetraining. She was clearly marking that bed as hers... Ann thought it was amusing the first time.. I said the above, she was marking the bed... Ann didn't believe me until she did it 4 days in a row... after that up went the gate to keep her out of Stephen's room!

mia did that almost every night when she was 4 months. she hasn't done it in awhile though. shes 6 months old today, actually :)
dans mom was watching rocky and maggie for like a week when we were in myrtle beach. when she brought them home rocky ran straight to the bed and peed on it. that clearly was marking his territory. (she has 3 male dogs)

Wow Pat is that true? I didn't know females "marked" as well. My first B never did that….but Lycia despite being pretty solidly housebroken for months now, still urinates in her crate pretty regularly... and she nests down into the bedding like it doesn't bother her..(makes me want to tear my hair out washing the same blankets all the time) .... and I know it's not because she can't hold it. .. I always thought she was just mad..

the first night i had tayda she slept on the bed with me. i got up in the morning and got in the shower and closed the door to the bathroom. came out and she had peed on my bed. guess she was not happy i left her in the room. from then on she came in the bathroom and laid on the rug while i showered.
now lenny and tayda both wait patiently on the bathroom rug while i shower now.
