I went with one of the solid golds.. and mix with the Wellness 95% salmon, chicken, turkey, or beef.. I really like those Wellness mixers! My dogs love them and I think they have really improved the dogs coats..

While I understand "financial" concerns, better quality food equals usually feeding less so what you spend up front is a savings in the end….

Not only that, but better health in the long run, so potentially less $$$ spent on vet bills.

Just like with us humans, you have to think outside of the box when it comes to how much you spend on food. In the long run spending extra $ on higher quality food may mean savings over time with our health.

Local pet store that I go to carries all of the frozen raw diets offered by Nature's Variety. It's nice to have a good selection to possibly rotate proteins.

I thawed out 3 medallions and it only took Kananga 20-30 seconds to realize this was yummy food. He's a big fan of this but hopefully he'll still like his dry kibble. 🙂

**I mix too! I like to change it up a little so they are not getting the same food all the time. Imagine yourself eating the same food day after day after day, tho I don't think they mind it a bit!! :o)

Currently I am mixing Canidae with Eagle Holistic. I am reading up on blue buffalo brought home some samples and they love it. But again, mine are not picky eaters.

I also add fish oil pills (x2), nupro, glucosamine, pet tabs plus as supplements.**
