• I like EVO treats, they are small and crumbly, but we have a variety of small treats, Duck Strips are a current favorite. Bully Sticks (free range, chem free) are the favorite large chew, besides my shoes.

    hahahahahha.
where can you buy those treats at?

  • Hmmm lets see. The treats I get him: Natural Balance rolls(nice for training),Innova mini biscuits, Bully sticks( they last a little longer), dried chicken strips, Wellness jerky strips, Old mother hubbard biscuits, organic chopped up turkey dogs for training. I stuff his hollow bones with natural
organic peanut butter stuffed with the biscuits and natural balance roll bits. Things like that, not to often of course these things are for the special occasion.
I wish he liked veggies and fruits he likes sooo many things and I dont think of him as picky but he turns his nose up at them. I will keep trying though sounds very healthy.

  • my guys get anything that doesn't have by-products, wheat, corn, and rawhides. But everything else from Solid Gold treats, Wellness cookies, dried chiken strips, bully sticks, fruits & veggies

  • Where does everyone buy their bully sticks from? I found some at Petsmart & bought them but I'm not sure that I got the best quality. They came in a package of 3 for like $10. Is that a good price?

  • I give Tuck the Merrick Filet Squares. They have Beef and Lamb. Shuts him right up. I also give him Stuff'n in his kong. This also takes his mond off of just ebout everything else, but I imagine it's made of crap, crap and yet another small amount of crap… But he likes it a LOT. 🙂

I have tried putting everything in Dallas' kong but he just does not seem to care. He will give it a solid 5 minutes worth of effort trying to get the food out but then gives up & I have to get the stuffout myself! I think it's a little game he likes to play on mommy. Haha. I have tried the peanut butter stuffn' & also the ziggies but nothing seems to convince him to work on getting the treat out. Any suggestions on another thing to try?!?

  • Try making whatever you are stuffing in the Kong really easy to get out at first and then work up to harder and harder things to get out. Puppies have short attention spans so at first the game has to be pretty easy.

Maybe at first you stuff it with some yummy kibble or treats, mine love Evo, and then a little seal of peanut butter so he licks off the peanut butter and hits the jackpot of his breakfast or dinner. Then you can work up to putting in some string cheese, micrwaving for about 20 seconds and then adding the kibble so it gets kind of glued in there. For expert Kong unstuffers you do the cheese thing and treat thing then fill with water and freeze.
