    Cannon Rebel, XTI 400d.

  • @luvsmy2bs:

Great pics! BEAUTIFUL DOGS!!!!!! Are you doing the doggie wipes before they come in like we have been doing with all the mud we have in Southeastern Ohio?

We have those wipes handy right at the door as they come inside;) . The mud hasn't been too bad yet. It seems to be really muddy after there's been a good pile of snow and it melts…..so far so good.:)

  • @Basenji_Boy:

:D :D What a happy, happy B!:D :D Look at the sparkle in the eye and wotta smile!:D :D :D

Loved all the pics. Beautiful Bs you have there!

I must agree with gbroxon. The picture shows extreme glee. Wonderful action pictures - with your new camera.

I was curious about your camera - I got a new camera too and a new computer - still figuring EVERYTHING out - haven't had much time since yesterday - Christmas. My son's 10th birthday is today - so after this - we're off to celebrate with a few of his friends. Soon - I hope.

My new camera is a Canon PowerShot SD870 IS digital ELPHI. So far, I am pleased with it. I'll have to try some action shots - though I doubt, but maybe the action shots will be as good as yours - we'll see . . .

Thanks - and keep on clicking! Say "cheese"! :D

    Thank You!!!!:)

She does look so Happy, she just loves to chase that foxtail and it had been so rainy for two full weeks…..the sun was a real Xmas present to them.

Thank You all, I am so happy you all enjoyed the pictures.:D

It makes me just want to shoot and post more of them.........so be careful!!!!!:D

Our Tri hates to have us clean hid feet, so before he stops and cleans his own feet! Self cleaning!

    love Jasper, great looking brindle!

  • Oh wow - do you live in the southern hemisphere? We have 12 inches of snow up here at least! Great pictures though.

Oh wow - do you live in the southern hemisphere? We have 12 inches of snow up here at least! Great pictures though.

We where covered in ice the weekend before(central PA). It's been wet, damp and icy so far this winter. No snow to speak of just yet….couple of inches, once.

The B's don't mind the snow, but hate the rain, ice and wet???????

  • Thanks for the fantastic pictures! I love the action photos - just wish my camera would do half as well. Maybe this year I'll have to get a "real" camera! Do you leave everything on auto or are you using some manual settings to make the magic happen?

I use the sports action setting for the action shots and auto for just about everything else. I will venture into the world of "manual" when I figure out what I'm doing.:D
I can't wait to take it to a lure coursing event.:)

  • WOW! They all look so happy and boy, are they photogenic! Great action shots…I didn't realize that the fabulous photographer Arti had advised you!
    Keep those pictures coming!

  • Looks like Bpapa got a great present from Santa :D :D :D

I love those pics!! WOW…I've gotta get me one of those cameras :D

Ono is a Hawaiian word, used to describe something that is 'the best' AND happens to be very basenji appropriate :) We hesitated naming her something that so strongly resembled 'no' but we don't use 'no' very much in our training, we say 'hey' to get their attention and then give them another cue to follow when we are redirecting their behaviour. The pups love the huge costco bed, and I love the great cedar smell :)

**hahaa…Its great how they can "say" so much with their expressions!!! ---SO, there was a breakin in miliraty housing one street up from us, and now im kind of glad Jack is aggressive when it comes to strangers....BAD strangers. Makes me feel safer. He sleeps at the top on the stairs next to my room and his bed faces the front door. SO I KNOw when someone strange is coming into the house. Once when i had a family member (jack didnt know) over, they went out all night and tried to sneek in at 3 in the morning and i heard jack growl like ive NEVER heard before. Sounded like he would have killed...I called him to stop and he did, but now i know when a REAL stranger comes in, Jack with at least give me a chance to prepare myself...!!----- Thats one thing Im thankful for with the recent breakins around here...and its unfortunate because ive always felt SO safe in Military housing...But its some group of teenagers that are Navy brats and live here too....yeay, not.**

lillysmom1- we had contacted Keath a few months ago about fostering but never heard a response. Glad to know all is well. Beautiful dogs on that site, as well as your own. We are in Columbus OH but always willing to help if needed.
