    Kiya shocked me! As usually due to her being black or too American style (in Germany) She took 2nd place and Reserve Winners bitch today!

    Thank you for showing your pictures. She IS beautiful! Mine is black & white and I was beginning to think that is why he was abandoned and his tail docked. I think he is adorable too and I hope he doesn't hurt from his earliest young life.

    @Roux I have to live with the dogs 24/7. The judge sees them for maybe 3 minutes. My preference tops his/hers !

    @dash: Oh Sorry, typing to fast. The few reds that are here, including my boy, are beautiful. There just are very few B's around. Thanks for catching that, all the Ohio red owners may be up in arms. Actually, there are LOTS of basenjis in Ohio. There is at least one big time breeder in every major city, and lots of the not so major cities. In my BCOA roster I counted at least six breeders that breed an average of one litter every year. And I can think of a couple other breeders that aren't BCOA members who breed every year too!
