Thanks for the reassurance Krunzer! no doubt there will be lots of differences between Ben and a basenji puppy.. i cant wait!
i think im expecting the worst, and hoping for the best 🙂 and my little experience with friends basenjis will help im sure. the first time i tried to handle a basenji was a disaster, he knew straight away i wasnt confident and walked ALL over me!! the second time He wasn't so lucky 😉 i got the upper hand, and he showed beautifully for me. we reach an understanding then 🙂
Hi from Taariq in Sweden!

Hi all!
I'm a new B owner, live in Stockholm/Sweden and have had Taariq for three months now. Previously, I've had cats, and I've heard that cat owners make good B owners.
Taariq is eight months old now, brindle, and to 67% of the Avongara bloodline. He's soft and gentle and very smart (of course, as his mum, I think he's extremely clever! LOL), would do anything for treats (if he thinks the treat's tasty enough, of course), and loves playing in the dog park with his pals Alice (tri-color and Sigge (a chocolate lab).
Here's a recent family portrait of my partner, me and Taariq (the poser ).
