www.basenji.org you can search for breeders by state. There is also a link on how to "vet" breeders, question you should ask. https://www.basenji.org/learn/ScreeningBreeders.htm
Also check out health testing yourself. You need to have the registration numbers and/or registration name and you can check at www.ofa.org
Here is the link for questions to ask breeders. Do not just "take" their word for testing, check it out for yourself. Here is a link to one of my girl with her health testing results https://www.ofa.org/advanced-search?f=sr&appnum=1415062
Basenji puppy wanted (Canada)

I am currently looking to buy a basenji, red and white, female! Can anyone let me know how and where I can do that? Maybe you have a contact or you are a breeder..
-
@liliasturza - If you are in the US, go to www.basenji.org and you can search by state for breeders.
-
Thank you! I am in Canada, but can look into there too, they may deliver here!
-
Also check in the BCOC (http://www.basenjiclubofcanada.com/), but it's past puppy season... The demand for basenjis is high and the supply is basically nonexistent, even in rescue. With any luck, you may be able to get on a waiting list for 2023 or 2024.

The is a whole world out there . We lived in Hawaii and could not find a basenji in the USA so we got ours from N.Z. Cost then was $2,000 , mostly airfare. He was worth every penny .
