  • by a stuffed hedgehog???

Anyone else have a dog with a silly quirk? Morgan loves his toys but the pumpkins and his hedge hog are his favorites. He holds them while looking out the window and then drops them on the sill. He does it everyday! When I leave for work they are often still there after I put the blinds down. haha

  • Awwwwwww, maybe he's enticing you to come back in? Great pictures.

  • Awwwww!!!! I just love your dogs hahaha! So how long have they not been crated when you are gone?

  • They are always crated when I'm not home or I wouldn't have a home. I can only imagine what my blinds would look like after the mailman comes by...

  • Very cute... that is my C-Me, she loves her hedge hog and has for 7yrs.... and Franie loves her froggy, but only after she has been in season and thinks it is her baby. Lasts about 2 to 3 wks, then it is forgotten till next time.!![0_1485012540106_Franie and baby.

  • @CrazySenji Hahahaha...I thought you told me they are always crated lol...I can't wait to see the quirks our little man has!

Better that they get a check up at the vets as this doesn't seem to clear up. Might they have licked the bird poop as well as the feed? I know that birds can carry disease. I would haven't have thought suet would cause caused an ongoing problem. Let us know what the vet decides please.

Me daring to leave the door open is something my 4 yr old laughs at..after all mom, it is just toilet paper…..he doesn't see the mess in it, he thinks it is funny. Now the trash digging he understands the danger of, since he has been with me to the vet when Otis was so sick last, come to find out, it more then likely wasn't the trash that got Otis sick in the first place, but I would like for him (4 yr old) to think it was…that way he gets the point... We will, do what I have done on the front and back door, put a a sign up that says beware of the basenji thief.., on the front and back doors it says…beware of the basenji runners, keep door closed at all times.., oh and then we also have The chickens are out, no dogs allowed.., for obvious reasons..not so much basenji related as Dachshund and belated Westie related. I mainly posted the picture of Otis in the toilet because it cracked me up seeing it..but thanks for your ideas, guys..

@Kananga: Hehe, Buana looks like he's trying to keep his paws clean. He really wanted to hold onto it but knew it would get his paws all dirty. How often do you feed them raw food like that? I've been thinking about doing that with my B every once and awhile. Well, raw like a fish or a pigs nose/ear or someting similair we give them once in a while. When we see someting that looks really fresh and delicious (fin the B's eyes of course) we'll take it. We bought the last tima some baby chickens but they didn't eat that.. (it's to furry I think) Snake food like frozen mice or rats (healthy and especially for food, not wild rodents!!) the love it.. Here in holland you can't let them eat road kill, it's often poisened or sick. @AndrewnShango: Oh, I am just in love with Chafuko! He's awesome!! :D We hope so much, he'll get daddy in a few years when al the health tests are good!!!
