I'm sure this has already been forwarded to basenjirescue.org but I sent it again just in case as well as posted this on their Facebook page. Hopefully someone can help this guy out. I can help with transport if needed. 🙂
Congratulations cubbies. Hope Archie and your Kate Nefertiti have a long and happy life with you. Please pop into member intro. thread and tell us about your "kids" and how they found you and your forever home.
Welcome from Dawn and her "kids", Tyler and Katie.
Thank you for opinions!
I don't think she is in any danger in the sanctuary but probably it would be nice to let them know that she might be a basenji - more chances to get adopted.
And there's absolutely nothing from a shar pei in her!
yeah definately. mia's a handful and rockys got a serious attitude sometimes, but i could NEVER even THINK of getting rid of them. I think some people just want companionship and because B's are tiny and quieter than normal dogs.. they think PERFECT for apartments and cities! but they dont know anything about them. unless you have the time to take them places, you cant keep them cooped up in a house all day with no outside exercise and expect them to be happy/cooperate with you. they dont have anything better to do than chew stuff up. at least thats how i feel
Yes and these people lived in an apartment in the city… so my first question to them was "are you ready make the time to walk a dog?"...
