  • I was lucky enough that oakleys breeder dremeled so I carried on with it and after routinely doing it he is very good about it. Even at three I still make a big deal after he's done by telling him he's a good boy and give him a cookie. At any point in time he can decide he doesn't want to do it or doesn't like it so I find keeping it positive keeps him on the hook!

    I also got mine via petedge.com.. I got the grey and blue one; I believe it's actually the Dremel brand

    @sanjibasenji My saw is getting blunt ! I had a job sawing up yesterday's bone into manageable pieces ! But they do last weeks, sometime months.

    With this thread in mind, I just did Kito's nails. Paul picked them up, Mku first, and I applied the guillotine Rescos. No problems. As Kito is still quite small, he was more difficult, and I am still using a plethora of reading glasses for different tasks I sat down, tucked him under my arm so he couldn't wriggle, and guillotined away. Not a squeak out of him, but he watched the proceedings with great interest. Both doggies then had a 'special biscuit' -

    @Shaye's: Otherwise, a visit to the vet to have the glands cleared is in order. Good idea to have someone show you how to do this yourself. Your vet or pretty much any groomer can demonstrate, if you don't know already. I sure wouldn't want to have to pay the vet every time it needed to be done, especially if she has an ongoing problem.
