Good info, and just another reason to avoid corn completely with their food. Grain-free is cheap insurance for a healthy Basenji.

Recently there was a recall of Innova Dry Dog Foods which produces a Grain-Free food that I was using at the time called EVO. Recall was for Salmonella found in numerous batches of their product line. Innova also makes numerous other dog foods (EVO, Innova, California Natural and Healthwise), worth checking into! I am new to this website and posting altogether and apologize if this was out of context.
