Sounds of Hubble, Part 1

I have been trying to put a yodel on cue for awhile now. Certain situations provoke a fairly predictable yodel from my guy, so I have tried to capture it and reward it, but I think it almost has to be spontaneous, since it seems sometimes he is trying and just can't spit it out! He will also bark on cue, although not reliably. I most often get a yodel when he is anticipating something he likes, and has been frustrated by a delay in getting it.

What a sweet boy and such a yodel!

Shes 12wks old

I do love vocal Basenjis! And Hubble looks and sounds like a real character. I have found my boys to be more vocal than my girls, and I wonder if that is generally so?

Can't wait for you to see him when we come to the match. Three of his siblings will be there too.

I don't know. Our b/w girl is very vocal, always has been. I have videos of her on my channel too. We probably encourage it too, at least with the yodels. My first basenji was practically mute he was so quite.
