Patty, thanks for the note. I told Lisa not to spend the $$ as Wheat is going to always be a virgin, but she wanted to, just for information to share with folks. I can't believe what a treat this little girl is to our family. She came all the way from Africa to find us. We are so lucky.
My laptop is close to being 'fried'

Those were the terms used by our computer tech. Some stuff is not running, the hard drive is looking shaky, and the laptop is hitting a temp of 157 degrees. Darn, I hate getting new techie stuff - nothing is in the same place, etc.
So, I may be away for a bit. I have to organize my files to make the data transfer as easy as possible. I have some new Kipawa pics to post, but that will have to wait.
So, to all, see you soon! Will miss you - you are a great bunch of people!

Fran,
i don't know if yours has the same problem as mine but for a few weeks mine has been closing down by itself and overheating. It usualy started again after a rest but eventualy it switched itself and refused to start. We took it to the pc clinic and all it needed was a good clean out, it was full of dust. Fortunately it seems fine now. I was so lost without it. -
Fran, it could be nothing more than a cleaning and new fan… get a 2nd opinion.
