Thank you for the lovely photos. It's wonderful to see Tayda and Lenny having such a fun time!
Action shots
-
So, the weather's been too crummy lately for Jigsaw and Indy to be doing much other than sidewalk walking (since I'm not inclined to having to bath them everyday!). Am looking forward to spring and being able to resume my never-ending quest for good action shots. In the meantime, I thought I'd post some of my past favourites as a new thread. Anyone who wants to share some of their own action shots, I'd love to see them!
(By way of explanation of the last outdoor shot, I have a roll of twine that I use to tie up branches, etc. while I'm doing yard work. Indy, the little goof, ALWAYS has his eye on it and will try to steal it first chance he gets. Thus starting a merry chase with me hoping that not TOO much string unravels! This shot captured Jigsaw grabbing the trailing end - a shot I could NOT get again if I tried. I was thrilled when I saw just how clear that little thin string appeared despite the otherwise slightly blurry shot.)

Basenjis in motion are so elegant, so captivating…
The simultaneous hurdle shot makes a great pair portrait! -

This is funny , the bw is sticking the tongue out at the other. Really great shots!
This is a fabulous jumper shot. How did you get both? -

Thanks. It was achieved by doing many, many sit-stays on the one side and then releasing them to jump. I have a whole sequence of amusing shots - first one and then the other going "around" the jump rather than over. Even got some butt shots of someone going back over the jump the wrong way. Good thing for digital cameras!

Love the shot of the pups jumping at the same time! Great job pulling that shot off!

I'll also vote for the jumping over the bar shot. Really well done - all of you!
