Rio and My Dad

Last weekend my dad went with me up to Ferndale to help me show my girls. He has no real dog show experience except the two times my mom needed him to go in the ring for Winners because she had two in at the same time. He wasn't terribly comfortable in the ring and though he and Rio were working pretty well outside the ring, they were not the best team in the ring. Even so, he put 1 point on my girl going WB/BOS from Open. The photographer just got the picture up on their website.

Very nice pic, congrats. I'm LOLing at the judge, even in other pics he has that silly grin. Big congrats to your dad though, even if they weren't working well they did something right :D

That's great…he doesn't seem thrilled, but I'm sure he's smiling...on the inside! Great job, nonetheless!! Beautiful pictures and congrats to all!

It's great you have your Dad to do things like this when needed - he looks like he was taking it in stride, and maybe a little proud even if he didn't want to show it.

Very nice indeed. My parents aren't dog lovers, so I doubt my Dad would ever even consider doing something like that - he calls my house Holly's zoo. :) Congratulations on your (and his) win!
