If you don't have it and are interested in learning about the basenji structure or movement this is THE book to get. And at 1/2 off, it's a heck of a deal
If there are 2 adults, one could fly with child and 2 cats under the seats, other drive with the dogs. I also know many people who have used the pet transport companies with great satisfaction.
Once you do get a list of vet hospitals go and visit them and ask questions. In my experience the good ones will let you see their examining rooms, boarding area, etc., and are quite willing to answer questions (including prices).
You could also try the small RC cars. The B's really like it as well as this little helicopter thing I have. They also like my furry blue pig-but they can't have that one!!
