It isn't supposed to happen this way….

Thank you so much for your kind words, everybody. The vet seems to think it was just a freak incident..probably a pulmonary embolism. She thinks we would have seen more distress, and symptoms if it had been an allergic reaction. We are struggling through our day :(
One of the most tragic/ironic things about this is that I had been waiting to breed this little bitch..as my first real breeding (my plans, my choice of stud, etc); when she came back as a clear of Fanconi, I was beyond thrilled. I think, maybe the universe is telling me now is not the time for me to be a breeder :(

I'm so sorry. I know what it's like to loose a prime-of-life dog. I remember the anger from the unfairness of it all. I wish I could offer some sort of wise words, but I just don't have any.

Oh, Andrea, I am so sorry to hear about Luna.:( My heart goes out to you and your family… this is so sad and she was too young... I gave Bella extra hugs and it was like she understood I am sad for you, because she put her head on my shoulder and stayed extra still for me.

Andrea, I can't even begin to find the words to express how sad I feel for you. It sounds as though it she was gone quickly and without struggle or pain. I know that doesn't make it easier on those she left behind but at least her passing was swift. Huge hugs to you and your family.

:(:(:( OMG, Andrea, I am sooo sorry. I can only imagine how it feels to have one go so unexpectedly and so young…what a shock.
I'm so sorry for you and your family...you are in my thoughts & prayers. Run free little Luna!
