  • Love that HUGE smile in the first pic!! Congratulations on your new pup. Adorable!!

  • @Quercus:

Soooo cute! Is she named Lilo after the Lilo and Stitch?

Yes exactly, she was named after them. We hope in the future we will have a boy that we can call Stitch, to complete the duo. LOL

  • @nomrbddgs:

Hi NIcholas! Yes so cute and calm. Did I mention in the few days before she left she was on the stove 3 times, on the counter at least once, kept climbing out of the xpen with ease. She's a cuddlebug, but man! You are in for a wild ride with the wild child. :)

Cute and calm, yes. They say there is a calm b4 the storm, LOL. I think she's just getting settled, sitting back and checking things out b4 she unleashes the beast. LOL.

We love her very much, and yes it is true wat everyone is saying, they are the best breed. And the cutest as puppies.

I love Stitch, the character, precisely because I swear whoever created him MUST have patterned him after a Basenji!

There is a dog out here named Stitch, his registered name is DC Select Rugosa Alien Invader SC LCX. We are planning on using him for a breeding this fall :)

  • She is lovely, so cute, and obviously training you for the life she wants to lead.

I used to like Lilo and Stitch, we don't see that over here anymore!

  • Lovely girl.

  • how cuteeeeee is she.

  • Here's a link to my photobucket where I'll be posting new photo's as we go along with our girl Lilo.

  • What a cutie - that first pic looks like she's saying "Yes I AM all that!"

And with any luck, we will be doing a frozen breeding to Stitch's sire, Jaadii…

@tanza: Sounds like it went well! And keep in mind, the handler can always request from the judge that they show the bite. I have never found a judge that refused that request. I never request… I just put my hands on the mouth and lift the lips before the judge asks... no one has ever said a word to me about it. Usually they just thank me for being so efficient! It is something that will settle him down if you are working with him on a table and checking his bite daily... then he knows you will do it and it won't bother him. Also let others check his teeth and give him a treat... makes it all fun for them!

@mauigirl: Welcome! I'm so glad you joined! There have been some litters posted about frequently here, so many of us have been following along. We knew when the pups were due and got to see them grow up in pictures…..Very cool that that process can and does continue after the pups join their families. I agree wholeheartedly… Mega cool!! I'm so happy to see you here, too!
