I am trying to adopt from BRAT but I haven't had any luck. The first one I tried on ended up not caring to much for cats. My home was inspected and approved. My application is in. They have one right now named Saphire that I have sent off a few request but no reply. Any tips or pointers that you can give me would be appreciated. thanks
New Puppy, Lucy, Basenji?
-
She's beautiful! That first pic, especially the ears, looks just like a German Shepherd puppy to me. I think she's a shepherd mix. I don't see any Basenji there though.
-
I would think Sheherd and Akita, Or Shepherd and Lab. What a sweet little face.
-
What a cute face! She looks like a little wulf!
-
Thanks everybody! Yes, she does bark, but not frequently.
-
What a cutie!! Very much a German Shep., IMO. Those huge, stand up on their own ears leave something to consider…........
Thank you for adopting a puppy in need of a forever home!!
-
She is a cutie pie….looks mostly shep to me. Would you like to do one of those DNA test to be sure?
-
Not really (aren't they a bit expensive?), I'll love her the same either way.
-
I know she's not a Basenji, but I thought you all might want to see a few more pictures of Lucy:
She's gained about 3 pounds since we got her!
The flash makes her seem alot whiter than she actually is.
Something's caught her attention…
Don't get too close to the camera! -
She is very cute… and I am sure she will bring lots of fun and joy!

Here is a pic of a dark and light colored shepherd pup. I don't know an awful lot about akitas but I could see GS-Akita mix. I also see a b shape to the face and ears. A lot more slender than the GS pupies usually are.
But overall ADORABLE!
