Thanks everyone for the encouraging words! Yes Rescuing is the best option. Sure it is a no kill shelter but it makes room for new dogs to be rescued and it puts her in a wonderful home! She is SLOWLY coming along. She likes to try to come up in my lap now. Shes a wonderful lil dog and Anubis LOVES having someone his size around. She "Smiles" she will get excited and show all of her teeth and wag her tail…I try to get pics but she always gets scared of the camera.

Those are really funny. I am astounded that Eesha actually jumps into the tub and into the bath water. I never have to worry about ending up with a basenji sharing my bubble bath. Amazing. She is a cute puppy.
