yes i'm glad I got chief! and I think he is starting to feel at home he is all over the place and his tail has more curl than when we first brought him home. He and zoe are wrestling on the couch over a chew they seem to be sharing . I just wish hubby wouldnt worry so much he thinks zoe will hurt him and is always breaking them up. He wont believe me when I say that things are going just as they should. Besides he weighed in at 12 1/2 lbs at the vet yesterday so she only has around 4 lbs on him if that.
Well, I tried….

So tonight dh was figuring out taxes, and pointed out the size of the refund we should be getting. I said, "oh! With that money we could get another Basenji!!!"
Ya'll ever seen a lead balloon. :p
I couldn't handle another one any way, but it was fun to try.

Well, me too. But, as Darren can just barely handle having two in the house {much as he loves them}, I think it'd be a "me or the dogs" situation, and as I am a stay-at-home mom….... well, yeah, I kind of need him to provide the home and the food, and actually, the dogs. LOL
So, two works out just fine.
{but I'd still really love to have a brindle; no -- two brindles. I'd like a beautiful dark brindle, but I also really like the light r/w ones. Ahhh, such is life; and dreams are fun to hold on to}
