My previous basenji killed several wild birds (much to my dismay) and I would not have been surprised if he attempted to kill pet ones. I have a friend who raises parrots and some of them are so large that I think they could do more damage to a B than the other way around!

My dad and his two basenjis recently made the local paper. We had no idea he had been interviewed until two of my puppy buyers mentioned having seen my dad in the newspaper recently. They were very sweet and cut out the article for me so I could see it since I don't live in the Bay Area. The link doesn't have the photo that went with the article that showed my dad with Cole and Levi, for some reason called Guy in the article.
