Western Oregon needs a meetup day.

Basenji Meetups & Events
  • Calling all Bs and their humans from the Western Oregon Area.

I think we need a meet up day sometime this summer. Just kind of tentativly throwing this out. But I know that their are some dog parks in the Portland area that have seperate areas for group meet-ups. It would be great to get Zaire together with some other B's…and other B friendly dogs. What does everyone think?

Found this thread and figured I would respond. I have an almost 1yr old Male (27 November) and would be interested in meeting up with other Basenji owners and their dogs. I live near Quantico and quite honestly don't see any other Basenjis ever. Will drive to most parks in the NOVA area.

We have a 17 week old Basenji pup. We live in Douglas County, west of Atlanta, but I work in Alpharetta and Jessica works in Atlanta so we are flexible on location.

Anyone interested & available to meet this weekend? Weather looks best tomorrow (Fri) or Sat. Also looking like the weather will be good next Fri & Sat. I'm willing to meet at any of the parks we have been considering on this thread (West Chester, Phoenixville or Oaks) Also, if you're interested, Wagsworth does a FREE Saturday stay & play (which just means you stay with your dog while they play - rather than dropping off for day care). Chase had an unexpected "sleepover" there Monday night - brought him there to play just for the afternoon & then couldn't get back because the roads were so bad from that unexpected storm. We missed him, but he LOVES it there - a treat for him & a little break from him for our sweet little (neurotic) border collie! Cindy
