Doggie do-do

  • I must say-I would have flung it at her, and made sure the bag was open, right in her car window! I live in the country, (sort of) and I end up having to go to the ditch to clean up other people's because they won't and I have to mow the ditch. You can bet if I see someone, I tell them to clean up if they don't, but at least I watch them to see if they're cleaning up or not!

  • But if you fling the thing, and it lands at or in a well-aimed place, what are the legal consequences?

  • If you're not in front of your house-who knows, I probably couldn't hold myself back. If you are, (I guess I couldn't throw it then!) I don't think after listening to me she'll want to come back. I don't mind someone saying something, but if you acuse and you don't know what you're talking about-I tend to get a little upset.

  • I always cary my sh!t sacks:) sorry if that is offensive. I use them for the litter box (the 4gal sented ones) also.

I only forgot once and we were close to my sisters house and Squiggy starrted doing that funky walk and I drug him all the way into her yard. I dont think it counts if you leave it in your yard or your sisters :p
but she had a baggie for me.

However my neighbor and his beagle leave #2s all over the neighborhood. But no one says anything because he is very old and really nice.

  • @Lenora:

I was standing at the end of my own driveway with Abbey one day when this lady slowed down and says, "Thank you for cleaning up after your dog." I just looked at her and rolled my eyes because I had actually only been getting my mail. So then she goes, "That is if you even do clean up after it." I just wish I'd HAD a bag of poop because she might have been wearing it!

That would just irritate me to no end. It was YOUR yard! I probably would have been very sarcastic and wanted to irk her by saying something to the effect that you think it is funny to leave gifts for the neighbors. and then smile and say "see ya tomorrow" and give her an exagerated wink.

  • :p @BaMica:

That bad of doggie droppings in my pocket was a sweet weapon that I wanted to keep showing to her. See? BaMica's mom

Thanks, that will have me laughing all day. and I am sure the next time I have a sweet weapon in my pocket I will laugh when I think of your story and hope a car slows down to do poop patrol.
    :p
That really has me chuckling over her at my computer. In fact someone just looked at me funny.

  • …And the psychological do-do war games continue....:)

  • Wow..what patience you have…I would of threw the poop in her car and from now on every time my pup took a poop, I would tie it up really nice and take it to her door step and plop it right there as proof. Ha!

  • I vote for te poop bag on fire on her doorstep. LOL! :D

So cute! Spencer used to want me to hold his paw (though not that persistently).

I've had a dog door in my sliding glass door, but I had one put in the wall when I got a nice new sliding glass door and didn't want to ruin the look (and some accessibility). I've had 3 basenjis over about 18 years, and they have loved being able to go out and sunbathe in the backyard whenever they feel like it. They stay in when it's raining or cold–but will go out to do their business.

@jys1011: I did see a commercial for that…it does sound like a good show. I'll have to check it out. I agree..altho it seems like ALL of Cesar's clients have the same issue :D don't they get it by now?? It's like the same story over & over again lol How very true, however it just goes to show what a big serious problem this is
