I'm impressed! Nice skillset!
Over the top!

Perry has been getting pretty good about jumping these barrels. At first he would "bank" them, i.e. jump on and jump off. Lately he has figured out that I want him to clear them. The first picture shows motion blur…...I kind of like the effect. The second is fast enough and a better angle to eliminate the blur.....

Once I get the rest of the acreage fenced in next summer I want to set up one huge agility course for the dogs.

I love these photos. I've always thought it so cute seeing their paws tucked up under the way they do when then jump.

That second shot is really good! Great job Perry! Buddy would love that course!

A giant agility course sounds great. I know mine would love one. Lovely pictures.

Looks like Perry has a nice jumping form. I think most basenjis do with very little training. At least that's been my experience.
And I have to say, it IS wonderful having a dedicated agility field in your back yard.

I wouldn't have a clue how to teach a dog better form, but if I was dealing with a horse I would be doing grid work with nice little square oxers to get the knees snapped up quickly, along with "bounce" jumps to work on bascule. I have been encouraging Perry to jump natural obstacles around the farm. It would take some work to get him to jump a rail that he could easily run under. As with most Basenjis, he would prefer to take the easy way out. Here's a typical "farm" obstacle….

Looks like an agility star in the making

I agree! They look just like a horse at a jumping event. What a determined look he has on his face. Priceless!

FANTASTIC pictures. OMG want to borrow Cara for a few weeks? Sadly I don't have that kind of space but I guess I could get one barrel.
