He's a boy. 🙂 And he's neutered as of three weeks ago. He's only about 10 months old.
Loose tooth
-
I just noticed that my 12-year-old has a loose tooth (the small tooth just behind the longer cuspid). He seems fine, not in any pain, all activities are normal (eating, drinking, sleeping, etc.) Should I do anything? Will it fall out on its own?

Lori, your vet needs to see your dog. They need yearly dental checks and cleaning. A loose tooth could be injury, but could also be infection which can cause organ issues including heart and kidney.

If the tooth is loose, it can be easily removed during the dental cleaning. If it is infected, an antibiotic will be given before the cleaning.
