Stem cell treatment

My sister's blue chow had some stem cells harvested. Today she is getting them injected into her hips and elbows. Has anyone done anything like this with their basenji(s) and if so, what was the outcome?

Not with a basenji, but I know someone with an agility golden. The treatment went spectacularly and they are back to doing agility with great finesse.
