I was so thankful to see this, too! Maybe he found a loving home. I hope so!
yes, he certainly deserves a loving home.
Hugs to you Petra, for doing this. All dogs deserve a good home.
Thank you Petra! You are an angel
ahh, thanks guys..
He is here with me now..I am handing him off to his foster from Austin later today, but for now he is meeting and playing with the Lopez pack..:)
He is a sweetheart, no growling or teeth showing at all..he is just soo, sooo very thankful to be out of that place..
I don't know what he is mixed with but I am thinking border collie maybe..
Here are some pics, the first one is from friday when I met with him, the two other ones are from just now.
WHAT A HAPPY FACE! Bless you!
such great news!
Petra-
what a good deed! polish that halo
Border Collie or Aussie?… I would lean to a Aussie since he has no tail.... Very cute however
Look up Decker Terriers..they used basenjis in the early breedings. We pulled one up our way, and the personality was so different from a basenji we started checking around.
They are neat dogs…imo, behavior wise closer to a jack Russel...
Yes, I think either collie mix or decker mix…can see aussie too..his foster mom is familiar with deckers so we'll see what she says..either way he is out of there and safe..
Here is Pippin with Jack..
Indeed, I totally forgot about Deckers. Wow however, look at those "pointed" ears!!!
I think he's a purebred Decker. Very cute.
My thought was he was purebred Decker as well, but I don't know the breed enough to be sure.

Do the Deckers have ears pointed like that?
I think he very well might be too…I don't know enough about them though...his new foster mom is a decker terrier owner and she is pretty confident he might be too....time will tell.
The photos I have seen show very upright ears..

Most seem to stand up
Here is a breeders webpage and it has a video on it. Some of their dogs look so much like Bs but with the docked tail.
