PetAirways Expands to More Cities
-
There is someone of the Forum that used them if I remember right… and was pleased with the service, but I don't remember who off hand
-
Yeah..Huuston is on the list..I don't fore see having a need but it is good to know should it come up..

This is the airline that ships pets in the cabin. Here is their webpage:
They are expanding to Austin, Dallas, Houston, Orlando, and St. Louis. I believe the service starts this Summer and reservations can be made this Spring.
They do give a 15% fare reduction for rescue pets flying to their new home.

I have never used them.

Thank you for this news. Wonderful. I wish they would fly to the Congo.

LOL Jo… I wish they would fly to San Francisco

They have a very specialized service, but if word of mouth passes around, perhaps their business will expand to cover more cities. When you need a service like this, it is a god-send.
-
I know, it would be EXCELLENT if they went to San Francisco… hmm
-
I used them to get Aries from LA to Chicago, and was very pleased with them.

I know the regular airlines have raised their prices on everything so I imagine that flying a dog as cargo is expensive. I had a foster BRAT dog flown from Houston to Sacramento on Continental in 2001 and I think it was $175.

I posted on FB and several friends have actually USED this service and recommend them.
-
I would definitely recommend them. their prices are fair, and they are very caring about the dogs. Aries did great with them.

And that is a great referral because she's an elder and many times they do not do this kind of travel well.
