Glad he has found a home, so sad he was neglected for a time, how did that happen? If for whatever reason we can't keep Kaiser he is to go back to his breeder and be rehomed by her.
Jolanda and Kaiser
This is not my dog. I sent a message to the owner asking if they thought the breeder would take the dog back. I also sent a message to BRAT so that they can contact the owner

Our dog is a 2 1/2 year old Basenji who loves to play and have fun. He is used to being around children and other animals. We are looking for a new home for him that has ample space for him to run around in. Currently our home is not big enough for him and he needs a big yard to run around in which we do not have. He loves chasing other animals like squirrels and cats so no cats. He is also well trained going potty outdoors. The only issue is he likes pulling on the leash and taking you for a walk.
It breaks our heart to give him up but we are not doing him any justice by keeping him in a confined space. I will be very picky looking for a new home for him and will be visiting potential homes before deciding. He is part of our family so we will be very picky until we find the best place for him. Serious inquiries only please. Thanks.

I live in Rhode Island and saw this ad when it was posted yesterday. I too had emailed the family but have not heard back. I did forward the posting on to the local area coordinator for BRAT.
Please let us know what happens to this boy.
