  • Those are some great shots and the dogs are gorgeous. Also I love the collars. This makes me really want a new camera.
You mentioned sailing, do you take the B's on the boat?

  • I always enjoy seeing your family pictures. Ryan continues to grow so fast! You can see the amazement of the world in his eyes.

Amazing that your basenji boys are in the water. They seem to not mind it, especially if a stick is in there! Thanks so much for sharing these with us.

:D We live on a boat, but we call it ship :D
We own a ship were we transport cargo with, and there are two homes on it.
One for our sailor and one for us (it's a normal sized home but it's build really different.) every night we moor at a harbor untill morning and if we are sailing the whole day we will stop for a doggiewalk :)

We also have a website: www.spranky.webs.com it's in Dutch but at the homepage you can see a picture of the spranky
and at the menu (on top of the page) you can click at: foto's

  • Thank you for posting your pictures. It is always wonderful to see your united family. The Rhein looks a lot bluer than when I saw it many years ago.

  • Your photos are amazing. The one of your son throwing the rock is a prize-winner! And I love the one of Chaf getting the stick.

Do you mind sharing what type of camera you are using?

  • Great photos, as always! Love all your boys.

    Of course I don't mind ;)

We use the Nikon D90 with some extra nikon lenses ;) (for these pics I used a bigger lens)

  • LOL That's actually on my "dream" list. I have a friend with one and I just love the results.

  • It?s a great camera, not hard to work with and I really like the pictures :D

  • Your pics are always wonderful - great composition and focus. It does make me think I want to get a digital SLR, but I have become so spoiled by the idea of the built in flash in the compact digital cameras. What flash are you using? And what bigger lens - a zoom?

  • I wish everyone who is trying to get rid of their pet because they just had a baby could see the beauty of your pics.

    You ROCK!

So pretty and unique; glad that you ended up getting him and hopefully he never has to find a new home again…moving and being displaced really can mess with a dog (or anyone for that matter)...hope you have many years of great fun and mischief.

Such pretty pups! Nothing like a tri-baby (times 6!). I'm sure their eager parents-in-waiting appreciate watching their pup grow… and of course, we're all enjoying it vicariously. :)

I LOVE how she got so dirty :D shes always such a clean dog and always so prissy about wet grass etc it was just great to see her get dirty. we try and encourage water play as much as we can living in the tropics, we are always at the beach every other weekend so she gets to see alot of water. Shes not keen on the sea but tidal pools are a go :) and now shes ok with the river too which is great. we just coaxed her in, she seemed to want to paw the water alot, like to splash us. was funny. we also have turtles in the river and you can see them pop their heads up and of course, she'd just love to swim after one of them (they can dive down so she never gets them). makes me laugh. ended up washing her in my bathroom as it started to get a little cool and the hose water was cold. needless to say my bathroom didnt look the same afterwards hahaha but now shes just had a nice hydrobath at work and she smells great :D pp.s I LURVEEE owning a B :)

I'm up in the Northeast & it cost me about $400 with meds & follow up visits for our spay & neuter. I don't blame you for looking for a better option even if it means a longer drive. I think it's better to be safe then sorry! Will you visit Oba/Sheba again in the next 3weeks? I think it would make for a good adjustment once she comes home permanently. Baroo can also spend some time getting to know her better she gets home. She certainly is a real beauty :) I can see why you want her so badly! I'm glad her foster mom was able to hang on to her a little while longer.
