I never considered this possibility before, even when I say the most dangerous creatures at dog parks are other humans, not the dogs!

It is well known that made in USA pretty meaningless. Always look for SOURCE. These days, if it doesn't SAY USA source meat, you can pretty much BET it is not. While most use some vitamins and stuff from other countries, if at least the meat is from a safe source, I'm pretty good with it. Of course, when it is JUST CHICKEN and sourced here… fine. 🙂

Have known the owner for about 20 years, he taught me more about training, health, nutrition and raw than anyone in my life. No I don't get a discount if you try them, but you can say Deb sent you so he knows. For crunchy and good omega, they are my dogs favorites 🙂

I know how you feel. It's horrible to live close to animal neglect. My new next-door neighbors leave their two dogs out 24/7– heat, rain, snow, lightning storm. They have a big fenced yard, but almost no shade. Of course, the dogs bark non-stop. There's no talking to people like that-- I've already been told to mind my own business. Maybe your neighbor will take you up on your offer... but probably not. It's sad.

I believe it is better to error on the side of caution. I have friends who lost one of their standard poodles in a very rural area. She didn't even have tags on her collar, let alone a chip. To this day, they still haven't put tags on their other standard poodle, nor is he microchipped. Makes no sense to me!! Hollie came chipped… mandatory by the shelter I rescued her from.
