A simple assembly made impossible

Basenji Talk

  • To all new basenji owners out there…never assemble anything in the presence of a Basenji. We were putting a bed frame together (not too hard only thing to assemble were some screws). Well to make a long story short my boyfriend was in charge of holding on to them and managed to lose them  grrr. He kept blaming it on the dog saying he thought Alani might of took them. Ha, that's an easy out. Well after 30 minutes of frantically looking and giving up, my boyfriend looked in her bed because she was trying to bury something...low and behold, the screws to our bed  . The little sneak was running in there grabbing one and burying it while we were snapping together the metal part (only about 10 seconds of time to do so).

  • LOL LOL….not sure what she was going to do with screws later on but HEY at least she didn't EAT them :eek

  • LOL, maybe she doesn't like the new style, lol

  • I wish I would of known that sooner ;)
Same thing happened to me! Hahaha
except he got ahold of the instructions and they were shredded

I think there are a whole lot of us on here who have the same experiences. After a time you learn to laugh a lot at it. I have done more sewing with the basenjis than I ever had with my children. Having just patched up a sofa cushion today I came into the room to find that the zip has been carefully removed. It might be time to throw it away now and start again!!!!!

I've seen, but never tasted, red velvet cake. Looks like everyone got a chance to enjoy it, despite Tiggy! Magnum was unbelievably well behaved during our Thanksgiving. Even my DH commented on it. I didn't even have to kennel him during dinner. I was so proud of him!

Is this Nick Russell of MastersPride? If so, we have a leather collar that does not slip down the neck and works well with them pulling. I put it high on the neck and Talker and Savannah will stop. But these collars that you posted the pixs looks really nice. Do you have the website?
