Lost and Found Basenjis

Yahooo! Oh, love a good story at this time of the year!

Oh dear, I just don't believe, IMO, that a lost dog roaming around will be "OK". Have the vets and humane societies in the area been checked recently? Are there posters up for this dog?

She said there's been a large amount of Basenjis rescued lately but she has been finding them good homes.

you can always do a free ad on craigslist. there is a pet section and a lost/found section

Thanks heavens that kind folks take in 'stray' dogs and try to find the owners. Keeps them away from cars and bad endings.

Please advise the owners to place ads in the newspapers and to circulate pictures of their dog. This can really help. Wishing for the best.

These sorts of things happen so quickly, and unfortunatley there is no "Undo" button. I think it is easy to get complacent in our lives. We get use to routine and every once in a while things just happen. So sad.

I just tried the link to Craigslist and it isn't working - it says 'page not found'. Does this dog have a name on his collar?

I've been kind of MIA on the forums - it's been a crazy few months - got married in June (in Michigan) and have changed jobs TWICE since being here!
