Hey Janneke ! Congrats to you and Tillo of course !:)
As I look at the picture of "Mr. BOB" I get the impression the judges are going for the more muscular type or am I wrong ? This of course would be great news for us as Bendji is quite firmly build.:D

  • I remember meeting his litter sister at Hannover Garbsen so you would have seen her too she was in Belle's class. He looks a nice dog and has had some nice wins.

Not 'the judges' of course, but this judge πŸ˜‰ and not more muscular.. If there's one pup muscular… then it's mine πŸ˜‰ :p
And don't mistake muscular with Bendji's firm body πŸ˜‰ :p :p Haha.. just kidding of course :p (has he lost some weight already?)

Chandu is very elegant looking, high on his legs compared to the other. I will upload pics of the other basenji's in about half an hour.. there are also a couple of Aboteres.

Yes, his sister won that class, didn't she? I believe the whole litter looks very nice.

Yes:( I prefer him to her as he has a better length of leg to height ratio.

Ah yes… not good for you of course.. 😞 But Belle had a nice second place. I spoke to the judge afterwards and she told me she really liked the female puppies. (opposed to the male puppies πŸ˜ƒ πŸ˜‰ :p :()

Yes she said that she enjoyed the bitch puppy class and it was a hard decision between Belle and the other girl, she actually has a write up about the show on her website.

YOU NAUGHTY GIRL !!! Laughing at my little Bendji !!!;)
And no, I have put him on a daily 400 kcal diet but he remains on the heavy side … Maybe due to the lack of running opportunities he has were we live. But I arranged with Alain to visit the doggy yard 3 times a week instead of only once a week... this will help him burn the puppy fat more easily I hope. He has to be in top shape by the end of this month for he will be performing on his first show !!!

Hum, heard somewhere his feet are pointing outward … so he's not a match for Bendji hahaha:D
Just kidding. He's very beautiful indeed.:)

Hahaha.. yes.. better than crying about it.. isn't it πŸ˜‰
    What show are you going?

    And.. no dog is perfect..

Edit: all B pics online in 5 minutes..

  • BOB guy IS more mature looking in the pic than Tillo…he also has "showy" markings, which make his shoulder angulation appear striking. He is a nice dog, I wouldn't feel bad about losing to him!

I don't πŸ™‚ Only problem is.. we'll have to compete in our next show as well πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜ƒ

That's okay πŸ™‚ Different judge, different day! I think Mirtillo could beat him if a judge liked a lighter boned dog.

Yes, a couple of weeks ago when Tillo became BOB he did beat him.. so anything is possible πŸ˜‰
